Friends really are like seasons...they come n they go. The best friends are the ones that stand by you through the good and the bad. KEEP THOSE! The worse friends are the ones that don't have your best interest at heart. TOSS THOSE! The worst part of making friends is that you never know which ones are the good and which ones are the bad. You gotta take your chances and hope n pray you found a good, genuine, friend...someone you can confide in, someone you can bare your soul to and won't judge you. these are the best friends. the bad ones deceive you and lie to you. the bad ones go behind your back and air your clean and dirty laundry to the world...once you find out they've shared your business with somebody else, you start to question their loyalty to your friendship. that doubt never goes away, not for me at least. Then you have the friends who you spend endless amounts of time and energy on but don't reciprocate the same amount of attention. Those aren't necessarily bad friends, but sooner or later you get tired of giving and not receiving, turning the friendship into an acquaintance. Friendships always get tested. Those that survive, well, consider yourself lucky. Good friends truly are hard to come by. Rarely will you find a friend you can trust, be yourself around, and who has your best interest at heart. Work to keep these friendships strong, make them long-lasting. Those that are not so loyal, will eventually ease on out of your life, like seasons.
